Who maintains the integration #
The Shopify integration is built and maintained by Gladly.
Basic scope #
Gladly reads data from Shopify and writes data in the Customer Profile. Gladly displays the information from Shopify in the Customer Profile. From there, Agents can cancel and/or refund orders or create a discount without needing to leave Gladly.
APIs used for the integration #
The most up-to-date API list can be found on Shopify’s developer site.
How the integration works #
This is a pull-based integration with Gladly → Connector Service → Shopify APIs. Only Shopify APIs are used to write data into Gladly.
Once connected to Gladly, using email addresses, Customer Profiles can be automatically linked (if auto-linking is enabled) to matched accounts in Shopify. Agents can also manually link Profiles.
Order Detail fields #
Below is a list of all the possible Shopify order fields mapped to Gladly. Specific fields won’t appear in the order card in Gladly if the field is missing in the Shopify order.
