Shopify has deprecated support for private apps. If you’re still using the Gladly private Shopify app, complete the instructions on this page to transition to the public app.
Some benefits of migrating to the public app include:
- More seamless integration, safer sharing of data, and security.
- Easier to facilitate, track, and manage support between you, Gladly, and Shopify.
- Lower maintenance and versioning are required.

Next, validate that the app is correctly installed.
- In Gladly, go back to the Apps page.
- Hover over the Shopify app you deactivated previously and click to edit the app.

- Click Cancel.
- Toggle the Shopify app back on so the toggle is green.
