Contact Gladly Support or your CSM if you want to deactivate Insight Builder or wish to reduce the number of Analyst license(s) you have.
If you no longer need an Analyst license #
Review the following for situations where an Analyst leaves your company, moves to another role, or you no longer need to use the Analyst license.
Analyst is moving to another team or leaving
- Have the Analyst who’s leaving move their reports/dashboards to the shared folder before leaving/removing their Analyst role, and then another Analyst can move it from the Shared folder into their personal folder.
Analyst leaves the company suddenly
- If the Analyst left your company suddenly and is unable to transition the reports properly, contact Gladly Support.
If you are deactivating Insight Builder completely #
If you’re completely stopping the use of Insight Builder.
Before unassigning the Analyst role
- Keep in mind that once an Analyst license is deactivated, reports saved in the Analyst’s dashboard are removed as well. So before the license is deactivated, make sure to have the Analyst move reports from their personal folder to the shared folder. Then, another Analyst can move the report from the shared report to their personal dashboard. Do this if the report is not ready to be shared publicly or should be kept private.
Turning off Insight Builder completely
- Have your Analyst(s) move reports in their personal folder to the shared folder for personal reports that you want to save. These reports are preserved once Insight Builder is deactivated.
