A privacy policy is a statement that describes how a company collects, uses, stores, shares, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with its website or service. When customers communicate with your company, such as through a chat using Glad App, it is important to inform them that by starting a chat session, they are accepting your company’s privacy policy.
If activated, the privacy policy statement in Glad App will be displayed above the chat button before a chat session begins and will remain visible during an active chat session. This ensures that customers know and understand your company’s privacy practices before sharing personal information through the Chat feature.
The Privacy Policy setting in Glad App is deactivated by default and is configured on the Glad App configuration page.
