Background #
SSO allows Agents to access Gladly via an app controlled by your IT team vs. having their own username and passwords to Gladly. This helps you ensure easier compliance and access in the long term.
Note that if SSO is turned on, all Agents must access Gladly via the same SSO provider.
Gladly supports SAML 2.0 based SSO.
Setting up SSO is optional, but highly recommended, as it provides an extra layer of user account security and ease of management!

Step-by-Step Tutorial & Best Practices #
- See Single Sign-On Setup to learn how to set up SSO.
- Give Agents access to SSO via your application AND give them the appropriate Gladly permissions in the Agents UI. Note that you will always need to activate in BOTH places for their account to work.
- You should conduct access testing using an admin account (e.g., your project stakeholder) to ensure your configuration works.
