Background #
Relationship Labels allow you to categorize relationships between one Customer to another. Customers can have as many relationships as you deem necessary.
Relationship labels are useful to give more context to Agents about who a Customer is (e.g., a Customer may be calling in on behalf of their spouse)
For more about relationship labels, go to this page.
To view the default relationship labels Gladly has set up, see default settings.
Goals #
Set up relationship labels to allow for relationship categorization between Customers and give Agents context over who they are working with
Estimated Effort #
As little as 45 minutes for a simple setup
Step-by-Step Tutorial & Best Practices #
- Go to Settings > Relationship Labels.
- Add or alter relationship labels. You can always delete relationship labels.
- Gladly recommends creating granular enough relationships to give Agents insight, but not so much that Agents get overwhelmed (e.g., a list of 5-10 should do.)
