Build Resilience, Reduce Stress

Course Details
Resiliency is the capacity of an individual to remain unaffected by a recent or anticipated stressful event. There are many strategies and techniques which can be employed to help people become more resilient in coping with stressors, such as improving self-regulation skills, reducing emotional reactivity, developing positive thoughts about oneself and others, building social support networks that function under pressure (e.g., family), being physically active on a regular basis.
Resilience has been found to improve mental health outcomes like mood disorders. Resilient individuals have shown less anxiety than those who did not seek out these practices.
